By looking into Children's Literature I will look at the many applications that can be applied in and outside the classroom to make a more productive environment for learning.

This site is a great resource for a comprehensive guide to English-Language Children's book awards from all over the world. Please check it out for more information, -http://www.ucalgary.ca/~dKbrown/awards.html

Everyone interested in Children's Literature should take an active role in maintaining a current insight into the world of news and current events as it is our children who are growing up in these times and we as teachers should be well informed.

Authors Pat Mora and Laura Resau and illustrator Rafael Lopez received the 2007 Americas Award for Children's and Young Adult Literature at the 15th annual award presentation from The Library of Congress.

Another videos you may be interested in watching is related to the CBC Book Club Presenting The TD Canadian Children's Literature Awards.
